Job summary

Destinus is seeking a dynamic Production Planner and Controller to join our UAV components manufacturing team in Hengelo, Netherlands. You will lead master production scheduling, align procurements with forecasts, and coordinate with procurement, engineering, and logistics to ensure on-time delivery of finished goods.

The role requires 3–8 years of experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong skills in MS Office and ERP systems (MS Dynamics 365 F&O).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business/PM related field.
• 3-8 years of proven experience in production planning and control.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems; knowledge of MS Dynamics 365 F&O preferred.
• Familiarity with project management tools (MS Project, Trello, Asana).
• English and Dutch working languages required.

• Master Production Schedule: forecast production needs from sales forecasts and orders.
• Material Requirements Planning: coordinate with procurement to ensure timely materials and supplier management.
• Monitoring Production: oversee execution of production schedule and track progress.
• Coordination with other departments: collaborate with procurement, engineering, production and logistics for timely delivery.
• Reporting and Documentation: prepare procurement and production performance reports and maintain records.
• Budget and Planning support: assist in budgets and project plans; track invoices and expenditures.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Planner and Controller to join our team in the UAV industry. In a aeronautical components manufacturing company, the Production Planner and Controller plays a crucial role in ensuring that production processes run efficiently, on time, and within the budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Master Production Schedule: Analyse sales forecast and customer orders to forecast production schedule and procurements needs aligned with delivery deadlines.
• Material Requirement planning: Coordinate with the Procurement Team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components. Manage suppliers to ensure materials meet quality standards and are delivered on time. Plan and maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Monitoring Production: Coordinate and oversee with Production Team the execution of the production schedule to ensure deadlines are met. Track production progress.
• Coordination with other departments: Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and Production to ensure smooth workflow. Work closely with logistics to ensure timely delivery of finished goods to customers
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare reports on procurement performance, production performance and any variances from the schedule. Prepare and maintain an organised record of product information, orders and transactions.
• Budget and Planning support: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of projects budgets. Provide support in the development of projects plans and schedules. Collaborate with Finance Team to track invoices, expenditure and budget adherence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
• Proven experience (3-8 years)
• Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems (MS Dynamics 365 f&o will be preferred).
• Knowledge of project management software (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Asana) is a plus.
• English & Dutch will be your working language
