Job summary

Lever, Inc. in the Netherlands is seeking a Product Owner for Matchmaking & Relationship to own the post-purchase product experience, focusing on activation, relevance, and engagement to help paying customers reach value quickly.

You will lead end-to-end discovery, design personalization and recommendation features, run experiments, analyze data and collaborate with engineers, designers, analysts, and data specialists to move ideas into production and iterate based on results.

Qualifications

• Hands-on B2C product management experience focused on customer journey design and activation.
• Experience with discovery-driven products with large volumes of offers or matches.
• Knowledge of search, ranking, and personalization in discovery platforms.
• Background in marketplaces or dating/recommendation-focused products is highly relevant.
• Ability to form hypotheses, define clear requirements, and link initiatives to outcomes.
• Proven track record delivering from concept to launch and iteration.

Responsibilities

• Own the post-purchase customer journey to help paying customers reach a quality match quickly.
• Optimize offer volume and presentation to balance relevance and variety.
• Improve recommendation relevance and customer trust across the experience.
• Increase relevant invitations and improve first-week match quality.
• Design engagement mechanics: gamification, nudges, reminders, reactivation.
• Analyze parameters by segments and apply segmentation/personalization.
• Identify bottlenecks and growth opportunities via data, research, and insights.
• Translate opportunities into testable hypotheses with success metrics.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, analysts, and data/ML specialists.
• Manage requirements, priorities, and timelines for predictable delivery.
• Run A/B tests, analyze outcomes, and scale impactful improvements.
