Job summary

Jefferson Wells in Amsterdam is seeking a Procurement Specialist to own an international sourcing portfolio of fruit ingredients used in ice cream production. You will manage supplier negotiations, lead tenders, and oversee contracts while ensuring cost, quality, and supply security across global markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in Purchasing or Procurement; 5 years preferred.
• Experience with food ingredients or agricultural commodities preferred.
• Fluent English; strong MS Office / Excel skills.
• SAP experience; Coupa sourcing/tendering is a plus.

In this role as Procurement Specialist in Amsterdam, you will manage the sourcing of fruit ingredients used in ice cream production. You'll work with suppliers across global markets, contribute to innovation projects, and play a key role in securing supply, controlling costs, and maintaining high quality standards. • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field
• Minimum 2years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Ocean, Air, Transportation or Logistics (5 years preferred)
• Experience with food ingredients, fruits, or agricultural commodities is highly preferred
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders across different departments
• Ability to manage operational challenges alongside strategic sourcing projects
• Fluent command of English, both spoken and written
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Ownership mindset and focus on delivering results

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with SAP
• Experience with sourcing or tendering platforms, preferably Coupa
