Job summary

Tetra Pak in Heerenveen, Netherlands, is seeking a Process Engineer Evaporator to design, specify, and size equipment for dairy-based evaporation projects. The role involves coordinating with project teams, defining equipment functionality, and preparing quotations while traveling about 20% on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial environment
• Experience within the Dairy, food or process industry is considered a strong advantage
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
• Knowledge of Dutch is an advantage
• Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of both fluid and thermodynamics
• Self-motivated with a results-driven and detail oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team

• Writing specifications for components and assessing the progress and quality of the components at the suppliers
• Advising and supporting the commercial team with regards to making quotations
• Giving Market Company or customer technical presentations on the process design
• Commissioning the installation in cooperation with an Automation Engineer and site team
• Troubleshooting while in the field / during production

Job Summary

Business Unit Cheese and Powder Systems develops, engineers and commissions cheese and powder production equipment for the food industry. With over 600 employees in 8 countries we develop, deliver and facilitate a competitive portfolio of process solutions in close cooperation with the Tetra Pak Market Companies. The Operations Evaporation Team in the Netherlands engineers and commissions evaporation equipment with a team of Process, Mechanical and Automation Engineers.

To further strengthen our activities, we are looking for a professional and motivated Process Engineer. This position is based in Heerenveen, the Netherlands. The role requires regular travel, with approximately 20% of your time spent on-site.

What You Will Do
