Job summary

Tetra Pak in Heerenveen, Netherlands, is seeking a Process Engineer to join the Operations Evaporation Team. You will design and specify equipment, lead process development, and work with a cross-functional project team to deliver on customer requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's in Chemical Engineering or Process Technology and at least 3 years in industry. English fluency is essential; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial environment.
• Experience within the Dairy, food or process industry is a strong advantage.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, specification and cost calculation for quotations and projects.
• Define equipment and functionality to satisfy customer demand.
• Size mechanical equipment, piping and pumps according to process requirements.
• Lead discussions with colleagues, customers and suppliers; interface with project team.
• Draft process diagrams (P&ID) and manage installation design with the project team.
• Write component specifications and assess supplier progress and quality.
• Support the commercial team with quotations and present process designs to Market Company or customers.
• Commission the installation with Automation Engineer and site team; troubleshoot on site.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Technology
