Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial environment
• Experience within the Dairy, food or process industry is considered a strong advantage
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
• Knowledge of Dutch is an advantage
• Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of both fluid and thermodynamics
• Self-motivated with a results-driven and detail oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team

Responsibilities

• Design, specification and cost calculation for quotations and projects
• Define the needed equipment and functionality of the equipment to satisfy customer demand
• Calculate and develop the optimal sizing for mechanical equipment, piping and pumps with regards to process requirements
• Pro-actively lead and communicate with other colleagues and/or have technical discussions with customers / suppliers
• Working out the process in a P&ID and managing the process design of the installation in close collaboration with the other members of the project team
• Writing specifications for components and assessing the progress and quality of the components at the suppliers
• Advising and supporting the commercial team with regards to making quotations
• Giving Market Company or customer technical presentations on the process design
• Commissioning the installation in cooperation with an Automation Engineer and site team
• Troubleshooting while in the field / during production
