Job summary

Otrium is seeking a Pricing Analyst Intern to join our Pricing team in Amsterdam. You’ll own pricing and promotion decisions for part of our inventory, analyze performance, and generate actionable insights to meet commercial targets.

You’ll collaborate with Partnership Success Managers to shape brand pricing strategies, improve our pricing algorithms, and run experiments with live data. This hands-on role offers rapid learning in a fast-growing e-commerce business.

Qualifications

• Enrolled at a university in the Netherlands for the entire internship.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Economics, Data Science, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills to dig into data, draw conclusions and make a call.
• Comfortable working in Excel or Google Sheets; SQL or Python is a bonus.
• Curious and eager to use AI in daily work and to keep learning new tools.
• A clear communicator who’s comfortable explaining reasoning to colleagues across teams.
• Available from January for a duration of 6 months, 32–40 hours per week.
• Living within a 1-hour one-way commute from our Houthavens office (ideally).
• Fluent in English (other languages are a plus!)

Responsibilities

• Own pricing and promotion decisions for part of our inventory. You’ll analyse performance, create dashboards, generate insights, and set prices and coupons that help us sell through our stock and hit our commercial targets.
• Work with our Partnership Success Managers to shape the pricing strategy for their brands.
• Help improve our pricing algorithm and systems by flagging where they get it wrong and helping fix it.
• Help run, monitor and evaluate pricing experiments and A/B tests, and turn the results into clear recommendations.
• Use data and AI tools every day to make analysis and decisions faster and sharper.
