Job summary

Neways Electronics is seeking an Electronic Assembler in the Netherlands to support PCB assembly in a high‑tech production environment. You will follow digital work instructions, assemble, solder, and inspect PCBs with precision, contributing to quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• VMBO/MBO education in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Solid soldering skills or willingness to learn.
• Ability to read and understand Dutch and English.
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift system.

Responsibilities

• In this role, you will work in a modern, clean environment assembling, soldering, and inspecting our products. You follow digital work instructions and use up‑to‑date assembly techniques suited to a high‑tech production setting.
• You will be responsible for placing electronic components onto printed circuit boards (“stuffing” PCBs). You do this based on work instructions or technical drawings. You ensure all preparations and pre‑assembly tasks are completed, such as cutting, bending, and trimming components. In addition to assembly and mounting, you also handle part of the quality control by inspecting completed PCBs according to the work instructions. Quality is our top priority.
• Manually placing components on printed circuit boards.
• Positioning PCBs in soldering fixtures, applying auxiliary tools, and following the correct process settings.
• Inspecting and repairing the soldering process according to IPC standards.
• Performing soldering tasks and assembling/disassembling PCBs according to work instructions.
