Job summary

Mollie is seeking a Sales Engineer in the Netherlands to join our professional services structure. You will support the sales team with pre‑sales technical work, including demos and solution pitches, and own the customer lifecycle from discovery to deal closure.

You will work on complex API integrations and non-standard solutions, bridging business and technology. Fluency in Dutch and English, SaaS/e‑commerce experience, and strong stakeholder management are essential as you help scale Mollie's

Qualifications

2–3 years in a sales engineering, solutions engineering, or pre-sales role.
Solid understanding of APIs and REST APIs, with hands-on Postman experience.
Fluency in Dutch and English; strong communication and presentation skills.
Proven ability to bridge business and technology perspectives and pitch solutions.
Experience in SaaS or e-commerce with external customers.
Strong stakeholder management across internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities

Deliver custom technical demos and solution pitches tailored to specific customer problems.
Conduct deep technical discovery across complex customer cases from initial sales qualification through to contract signature.
Design scalable solutions architecture and custom API integrations.
Collaborate with CSM for upsell and revenue opportunities.
Share knowledge via internal training on Mollie products and the payments market.
Coordinate handovers to post‑sales implementation at contract signature.
