Job summary

Mollie is seeking a Sales Engineer I to join our Netherlands commercial team. You will own the full customer lifecycle from discovery through to deal closure, focusing on deep API integrations and custom solutions rather than off-the-shelf work.

This role sits within a dedicated professional services path with autonomy and direct product-team exposure. You will build technical demos using Postman and AI, translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a sales engineering, solutions engineering or pre-sales role.
• Strong API knowledge and hands-on Postman experience.
• Fluent in Dutch and English with clear communication.
• Experience in a SaaS or e-commerce environment with external customers.

Responsibilities

• Create custom technical demos and solution pitches for customers.
• Lead deep technical discovery from qualification to signature.
• Architect scalable API integration solutions for mid-to-upmarket deals.
• Collaborate with CSM to identify growth in existing accounts.
• Share knowledge through internal trainings and sessions.
• Coordinate smooth handovers to post-sales implementation at contract signing.
