Job summary

JBT Marel seeks a Technical Support Specialist to provide expert technical support to customers, regional Technical Support teams and Field Service engineers. You will be the reference for technical questions, build strong relations with specialists, and ensure timely case handling with clear technical exchanges between commercial and technical departments.

You will update installed base data, identify improvements for commercial opportunities, and create service documentation while supporting

Qualifications

• Educational background in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical- or Software engineering.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong technical background on high-level food processing equipment and control systems.
• Proactive with analytical and problem solving skills.
• Experience in field service or technical support is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Solve cases online/remotely and/or decide on follow-up actions in a timely manner.
• Advise and inform internal stakeholders on technical solutions and case status.
• Ensure field service debriefings are processed, and Customer Support is informed on follow up actions.
• Update and/or register machine information in Installed Base Management system.
• Identify technical improvements which can be used for potential commercial opportunities.
• Is responsible for creating and maintaining service documentation (Service Info, Service Letter and Service Notice).
• Monitor, evaluate and coordinate reported technical feedback and identify structural issues from reported technical feedback.
• Be the central point for supporting the knowledge build up in the regions and the industry/product group.
