Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking an Area Sales Manager for the EMEA region to drive sales of poultry processing systems and solutions. You will be the primary contact for customers, visiting in person, at exhibitions, demos, and other events to analyze needs and offer tailored solutions.

You will work closely with regional leadership, partners, and sales operations to execute market plans, train account managers, and achieve targets while maintaining high standards of customer engagement and professional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering
• 3 years’ experience in outside B2B sales of technical/mechanical systems, preferably with an international company
• Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office; strong written and spoken English
• Willingness to travel and adapt to a multicultural, international environment

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Regional Sales Director, Account Managers, Distribution Partners, and Regional Sales Operations.
• Help establish and implement a regional market plan for the area.
• Drive sales of complex solutions, justify value, and increase market share while meeting customer requirements.
• Support and train Account Managers with in-depth process knowledge.
• Achieve sales targets in volume, price, and margins; manage visit reports and CRM data.
• Gather intelligence on competitors, installed base, and market developments.
• Meet KPI goals with sales performance and margins.
