Job description

Do you want to do work that matters, alongside supportive leaders who will help you grow faster than you ever thought possible? Are you a creative problem-solver who is energized by challenges? You've come to the right place.

YOUR IMPACT

You will help the team deliver practical, timely and high-quality legal support to colleagues and stakeholders, while strengthening the structures, processes, templates and knowledge resources that enable the firm to execute its People Strategy across jurisdictions. You will support the Employment Law Team across the EMEA region on a broad range of employment-related matters. You will own and coordinate important workstreams, including maintaining matter trackers, organizing employment documentation, supporting litigation and investigation processes, coordinating with local counsel and internal stakeholders, preparing first drafts of templates and communications, and helping the team improve recurring processes through better knowledge management and project discipline. Your work will help create more consistent, efficient and risk-aware employment law support across EMEA, enabling the team to respond quickly to business needs, manage sensitive matters with care, and continuously improve how we support our people and leaders across the region. You will be based in Amsterdam, Brussels or Madrid as part of our Employment Law Team. Your team helps the firm make impact by executing its People Strategy across industries and jurisdictions, enabling our people to achieve their full potential through practical legal guidance, thoughtful risk management, and strong partnership with People, Legal and business stakeholders. You will liaise with numerous individuals within the firm (e.g., Partners, Finance, Corporate Tax team, Risk, office and sector leadership, local administrative leaders) as well as outside counsel in Europe.

YOUR GROWTH

You are someone who thrives in a high-performance environment, bringing a growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit to tackle meaningful challenges that have a real impact. In return for your drive, determination, and curiosity, we'll provide the resources, mentorship, and opportunities to help you quickly broaden your expertise, grow into a well-rounded professional, and contribute to work that truly makes a difference.

When you join us, you will have:

  • Global community: With colleagues across 65+ countries and over 100 different nationalities, our firm’s diversity fuels creativity and helps us come up with the best solutions. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to learn from exceptional colleagues with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • Exceptional benefits: On top of a competitive salary (based on your location, experience, and skills), we provide a comprehensive benefits package to enable holistic well-being for you and your family.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Legal degrees are not required; equivalent practical experience, strong judgment and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a legal or professional services environment are valued
  • 3+ years of relevant corporate, professional services, legal operations, HR, employment law, litigation, immigration or comparable experience
  • Strong organizational capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple matters, maintain accurate trackers and documentation, prioritize effectively, and follow work through to completion
  • Demonstrated ability to work hard, take ownership, remain resilient under pressure, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Team-oriented and collaborative style, with a service mindset, sound judgment, discretion, and willingness to help colleagues across geographies and functions
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employment-related information with professionalism, care and adherence to the highest standards
  • Comfort using Microsoft Office applications and collaboration tools, with an interest in improving processes, templates, knowledge resources and ways of working
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, in English with the ability to communicate accurately, concisely and appropriately with colleagues, senior stakeholders, local counsel and cross-functional teams
