Job summary

JDE Peet’s is offering a Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Intern position at our Utrecht headquarters, starting September 2026. You will explore packaging regulations, sustainability, and food contact materials, while collaborating with R&D teams to align packaging practices with global standards.

The role provides hands-on regulatory, sustainability, and food safety experience, including a 5‑month term with both in‑office and remote work options across Europe.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a BSc or MSc program for the entirety of the internship.
• Strong MS Office skills and fluent English.
• Available for at least 5 months (Sept 2026–Feb 2027).

Responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews on packaging guidelines for sustainability and safety.
• Support development of standardised templates, decision trees, and risk tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with requirements and certification standards.
• Help create training materials and SOPs for global rollout of packaging guidelines.
