Job summary

JDE Peet’s invites applications for a R&D Packaging Intern at our Utrecht headquarters. The role includes conducting packaging tests, data analysis, and maintaining the sustainability database, with results shared across product development teams to support factory trials.

You will gain exposure to packaging tests, data analysis, and project management while engaging with a global R&D team. The internship runs March 2027 to August 2027 with a hybrid in-office/remote setup.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in bachelor or master program for the duration of the internship.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to a 5-month term (March 2027 – August 2027).

Responsibilities

• Support packaging tests and life cycle assessments.
• Characterize structures and maintain the packaging sustainability database.
• Share results with supervisors and teams for cross-functional insights.
• Assist with factory trials and coordinate external tests.
