Job summary

JDE Peet's in Utrecht is seeking a Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Intern to focus on external nutrition measures such as sugar taxes, marketing restrictions and front-of-pack nutrition labelling. You will monitor developments, assess local requirements, and translate findings into structured input for company databases, policies and guidelines.

Qualifications

• You are enrolled in a BSc or MSc program for the duration of the internship.
• Ideal backgrounds: Food Sciences with data affinity, or Data Science with nutrition focus.
• Strong MS Office skills and fluent written/spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews on internal nutrition guidelines.
• Research tools or automation approaches to manage nutrition measures.
• Gather data and build the foundational data structure for the tool.
• Support standardised templates, decision trees, and risk tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with requirements.
• Help create training materials and SOPs for global rollout.
