Job summary

JDE Peet’s in Utrecht is seeking an ambitious R&D Global SARA Intern to support regulatory and scientific affairs around nutrition. Starting in March 2027, you will monitor external nutrition measures, research local regulatory requirements, and translate insights into structured input for databases and guidelines.

The internship is five months, with five days per week (three in-office, two remote). You will collaborate with product, regulatory, and marketing teams and gain hands-on experience

Qualifications

• You are enrolled in a BSc or MSc program for the entirety of the internship, preferably in Food Sciences with data affinity or in Data Science with nutrition focus.
• Strong MS Office skills, data literacy, and fluent spoken/written English are required.
• Structured, proactive, and communicative mindset with ability to work in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews on internal nutrition guidelines and best practices.
• Research and recommend tools or automation for capturing nutrition-related measures.
• Gather data and build foundational data structures for the tool and simulator inputs while aligning with portfolio criteria.
• Develop standard templates, decision trees, and risk assessment tools for nutrition design processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company requirements.
• Create training materials and SOPs to support global rollout of nutrition guidelines.
