Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive in Etten-Leur, Netherlands seeks a Packaging Engineer to drive consumer-focused packaging design and the technical execution of projects. You will lead design efforts, ensure quality and regulatory compliance, and collaborate across Marketing, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.

The role requires a solid background in packaging engineering with hands-on experience in a fast-moving consumer goods environment. Relocation assistance is offered within country.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Packaging Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a consumer goods (CPG), pharma or food company.
• Minimum 2 years of direct experience in supply chain, packaging, logistics, or R&D.

Responsibilities

• Design primary and secondary packaging materials to meet consumer, client, and supply-chain needs.
• Lead engineering to solve complex packaging challenges as projects progress.
• Ensure compliance with company protocols and corporate quality/safety standards.
• Manage the entire project lifecycle with a solid business rationale and clear approvals.
• Provide specs, drawings, and protocols to cross-functional areas for task execution.
• Collaborate with suppliers and define validation criteria and KRS for new developing materials.
