Job summary

STICHD in the Netherlands is seeking a Packaging Engineer to lead packaging developments from concept to production for multiple international brands. You will translate briefs into viable, production‑ready solutions covering structural concepts, dielines, artwork, sampling, validation and supplier support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on packaging development experience.
• Strong knowledge of structural and graphic packaging, materials, print processes and manufacturability.
• Advanced Adobe Illustrator skills essential; CAD/3D packaging experience a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Own packaging projects from brief through concept, artwork, prototyping, sampling, validation and release.
• Develop and refine structural packaging concepts, dielines and technical specs.
• Create and review production‑ready artwork with brand, pre‑press and supplier requirements.
• Coordinate prototypes, samples and validation through SMS and bulk approval.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and international suppliers to align requirements and approvals.
