Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive Company in the Netherlands is seeking a Capex Project Engineer to lead Capital Program Development and oversee execution from concept to hand-over. You will monitor progress, adjust plans, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards within an international setting.

The role requires 5 years in capital project management, English and Dutch fluency, and strong technical skills. Excellent negotiation abilities and a focus on continuous improvement are expected.

Responsibilities

• Co-responsible for the overall Capital Program Development and Implementation.
• Drive and manage capital program execution by monitoring progress and risks.
• Modify plans and initiate corrective actions using PM tools and techniques.
• From conceptual engineering through hand-over to the internal client and close-out.

The Capex Project Engineer is co-responsible for the overall Capital Program Development and Implementation of the Etten-Leur facility.

You drive and manage the capital program execution by monitoring project progress, modify plans, initiate corrective actions based on feedback and changes by using the appropriate project management tools and techniques. Starting off from the conceptual engineering phase until final project completion by formal "Hand-Over" to the internal customer (after commissioning and punch-list resolution) as well as financial- and administrative CloseOut.

The Capex Project Engineer develops and presents the business case(s) during the Corporate Captial Budget Reviews.

Projects may be process equipment, reliability and maintenance engineering, utility or civil related. Accountabilities of the rol include project viability, project schedule adherence, project cost control, technology transfer and corporate Safety & Quality standard compiance.
