Job summary

Arvato in Heijen (Netherlands) is seeking an Assistant Supervisor to co-manage the daily warehouse operations with a 20–30 person team across three shifts. You will coach staff, plan daily workforce levels, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring safety and efficiency on the floor.

The role requires an MBO level or equivalent, at least 1 year in a logistics leadership role, and familiarity with WMS/ERP systems and Excel is a plus. The position is on-site in a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• MBO level education or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a leadership role within logistics.
• Experience with WMS/ERP systems and Excel is a plus.
• Strong coordination skills and the ability to maintain overview.
• Ambition to grow and take on more responsibility.
• Willing to work in a 24/7 operation across three shifts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating daily warehouse activities on the floor.
• Coaching, guiding and motivating team members and line leads.
• Creating daily workforce planning based on volumes and staffing.
• Monitoring KPIs such as productivity and quality.
• Identifying bottlenecks and taking action when needed.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of warehouse processes.
• Ensuring a safe, structured and efficient working environment.
