Job summary

Keyrock is seeking an Engineering Lead for the Options team to drive the development of a Rust-native systematic options trading platform. You will lead a distributed team, shape architecture, and partner with traders, quants and risk to deliver reliable, low-latency trading capabilities.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, deep technical direction, and collaboration across global hubs while supporting a remote-first culture. European/US time zones are considered for collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in systematic trading or low-latency systems.
• Hands-on Rust, C++, or C experience.
• Familiar with SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Understanding of automated quoting, execution, pricing and risk controls.
• Experience with distributed systems and production reliability.
• Crypto exchange connectivity or FPGA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow an Options Engineering team of around 7 engineers.
• Own and evolve a Rust-native systematic options trading platform.
• Provide technical direction across trading infra, system design, performance, reliability.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, product, risk and infra.
• Deliver robust automated quoting, execution and risk controls.
