Job summary

Conscious Hotels is seeking an Operations Supervisor for Conscious Hotel The Tire Station in Amsterdam. You will lead the Front Office team, ensuring a warm, efficient guest experience while maintaining high standards and safety.

The role combines hands-on floor presence with coaching and daily operations oversight. You will train and guide colleagues, handle guest inquiries, and collaborate with the Hotel Manager to drive improvements, guest satisfaction, and sustainability in a vibrant

Are you someone who gets energy from making guests happy and helping a team shine? As Operations Supervisor at Conscious Hotel The Tire Station, you’ll be the hands‑on leader of our Front Office team. You’ll be right in the middle of the action while keeping an overview of daily operations and working closely with the Hotel Manager to make the department a little better every day.

You’ll lead the team in a motivating way, coach colleagues on the job, and make sure everyone knows what needs to be done. You’ll be the main point of contact for our guests, handling questions and feedback with ease while ensuring the atmosphere always feels warm and welcoming.

Together with your colleagues, you’ll create a smooth and worry‑free guest experience. You’ll keep shop inventory up to date, contribute ideas for improvements, and maintain a keen eye for hygiene and safety. And of course, you’ll be hands‑on on the floor yourself, from checking guests in to making a cappuccino. Because as a supervisor, you don’t just lead the team — you work alongside them!

About you:

• You enjoy organising training sessions to help your team grow and improve, because delivering excellent service and maintaining high standards are in your DNA;

• You are organised and detail-oriented, with a keen eye for safety, hygiene, and all the regulations that apply to the hotel and bar;

• Sustainability matters to you, and minimising waste comes as naturally to you as providing excellent service;

• You have strong leadership and team management skills and previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.

• You are familiar with health and safety regulations;

• You speak fluent Dutch and English;

• Preferably, you live in or near Amsterdam;

• You are flexible and don’t mind working weekends, evenings, and public holidays;

• You are looking for a position of at least four days per week;
