Job summary

Conscious Hotels in Amsterdam is seeking an all-around public area cleaner for Conscious Hotel Vondelpark and The Tire Station. You’ll keep public spaces pristine, manage offices and meeting rooms, and help with general hotel housekeeping tasks. A reliable, energetic team player is essential.

You should enjoy physical work, speak fluent English (Dutch a plus), and be open to a fulltime schedule including weekends, with preferably living in or around Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• Experience with cleaning tasks is preferred.
• Fluent English; Dutch is a plus and often preferred.
• Flexible availability including weekends.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to stay physically active for cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

• Tidying, cleaning, and maintaining the public areas.
• Cleaning the office at the location and the meeting room.
• Cleaning hallways and adjacent spaces.
• Assisting where needed to support hotel operations.

About the role:
As an all-around public area cleaner, you are responsible for everything related to the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the general areas at Conscious Hotel Vondelpark and the neighbouring hotel location, The Tire Station. It is important that you are able to set priorities and coordinate your work independently. In addition, you are reliable and flexible regarding working days and hours.

What you will do:

• Tidying, cleaning, and maintaining the public areas;

• Cleaning the office at the location and the meeting room;

• Cleaning hallways;

• Assisting where needed.

About you:

• You are looking for a fun fulltime job for 5 days per week;

• Flexible availability (including weekends);

• Hospitality is in your DNA;

• Experience with cleaning tasks;

• You are a team player;

• Experience in hotel cleaning is a plus;

• You speak fluent English and preferably also Dutch;

• You preferably live in or around Amsterdam;

• You enjoy physical work - as a housekeeper, you stay fit!
