Job summary

BUX B.V. in Amsterdam is seeking an Operations Officer to join our team. You will provide key support to the Operations team with daily tasks and contribute to various development projects, gaining a solid understanding of the financial industry and saving products.

The role is full-time (40 hours per week) and office-based, within a close-knit team of six. You will learn to monitor corporate actions, process payments, reconcile trades, and collaborate with stakeholders across engineering,

Qualifications

• Proficient with Excel.
• Experience in Python or SQL is a plus.
• Previous experience in financial services (banking or payments) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process internal payments and accounts
• Reconcile (align) trades, positions and cash balances
• Investigate and fix trade, position and cash breaks
• Provide trade support to the first line of defence
• Communicate and collaborate with cash, clearing and trading partners
• Communicate and collaborate with internal teams such as engineering, business intelligence, finance and customer support
• Design new processes and reporting procedures for the savings proposition
• Refine or automate daily operational processes

We are looking for an Operations Officerto join our BUX team based in Amsterdam.

In this role, you will offer key support to the Operations team with all the daily operational tasks, and you will contribute to a wide variety of development projects.

Within our team of 6, you will be trained to gain a strong fundamental understanding of the financial industry, saving products, concepts and processes in a broad sense.

The job is full-time (40 hours per week) and mostly requires working from the office.
