Job summary

BUX is seeking an Operations Officer based in Amsterdam to support the daily operations team across a range of activities in financial services.

You will gain a strong understanding of the savings proposition, corporate actions processing, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, BI, finance and customer support.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in financial operations.
• Based in the Netherlands and willing to work from Amsterdam office.
• Experience in financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and process dividends, stock splits and other corporate actions.
• Manage and process internal payments and accounts.
• Reconcile trades, positions and cash balances.
• Investigate and fix trade, position and cash breaks.
• Provide trade support to the first line of defence.
• Collaborate with cash, clearing and trading partners and internal teams.
• Design and refine processes and reporting for savings propositions.
• Automate daily operational processes.

Job description

• We are looking for an Operations Officer to join our BUX team based in Amsterdam
• In this role, you will offer key support to the Operations team with all the daily operational tasks, and you will contribute to a wide variety of development projects
• Within our team of 6, you will be trained to gain a strong fundamental understanding of the financial industry, saving products, concepts and processes in a broad sense
• The job is full‑time (40 hours per week) and mostly requires working from the office
• Monitor and process corporate actions such as dividends, stock splits, etc
• Manage and process internal payments and accounts
• Reconcile (align) trades, positions and cash balances
• Investigate and fix trade, position and cash breaks
• Provide trade support to the first line of defence
• Communicate and collaborate with cash, clearing and trading partners
• Communicate and collaborate with internal teams such as engineering, business intelligence, finance and customer support
• Design new processes and reporting procedures for the savings proposition
• Refine or automate daily operational processes
