Job summary

TNO is seeking an Onsite IT Support Specialist to assist researchers and staff with IT products and services, focusing on service desk and on-site support. You will have opportunities to specialise in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, ALM, Linux, and other platforms used within TNO.

The role involves supporting Utrecht and Petten locations, resolving incidents, documenting procedures, and collaborating with DevOps teams to implement improvements in a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a service desk or IT support role.
• Good Dutch and English communication skills.
• Ability to follow procedures and document work accurately.
• Willingness to travel between TNO locations in the region.
• A category B driving license and security screening readiness.

Responsibilities

• Resolve incidents and service requests via phone, email, and tickets.
• Install, configure and replace workplace equipment, hardware and software.
• Provide on-site user support at Utrecht and Petten locations.
• Handle Tier 2 incidents within specialist domains and document changes.
• Collaborate with DevOps and specialists to implement improvements.
