Job summary

TNO is seeking an Onsite IT Support Specialist to assist researchers and staff at locations in Utrecht and Petten. You will focus on service desk and on-site support, with opportunities to specialise in areas such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Linux, or ALM.

The role requires IT support experience, strong Dutch and English communication, and a willingness to obtain AIVD security clearance. You will work in a security-conscious environment with room for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience in a service desk, workplace management or IT support role.
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Willingness to obtain A/B security clearance (AIVD).
• MBO level 4 IT-related education is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Resolve incidents and service requests via phone, email and tickets.
• Install, configure and replace workplace equipment, hardware and software.
• Support users at Utrecht and Petten locations.
• Handle Tier 2 incidents within your specialist domains.
• Document changes, procedures and knowledge articles.
• Collaborate with specialists and DevOps teams to implement improvements.
