Job summary

The Zeilschip Eendracht Foundation is seeking a passionate onboard chef to prepare nutritious meals for crew and guests aboard our sailing vessel in the Netherlands. You will craft varied menus, manage stock, and ensure top hygiene standards while adapting to life at sea.

You will design menus, consider dietary needs, source fresh ingredients, and collaborate with a small crew to deliver a memorable voyage experience for all aboard.

Qualifications

• Experience as a professional chef, preferably in maritime settings.
• Familiarity with HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Ability to design menus considering dietary requirements.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner for crew and guests.
• Designing menus and accommodating dietary requirements and preferences.
• Managing inventory and sourcing fresh, high-quality ingredients.
• Ensuring hygiene and cleanliness in the galley per HACCP guidelines.
• Collaborating with the crew to create a memorable sailing experience.
