Stichting Zeilschip Eendracht in Rotterdam seeks an experienced captain to helm our three-masted schooner, ensuring safety, navigation, and guest satisfaction.

You will lead a diverse crew, coordinate with deck and technical teams, and deliver a memorable sailing experience for our guests.

Qualifications

• Holder of a ‘Master All Ships’ or ‘Master 3000GT’ certificate.
• Proven experience as a captain on seagoing sailing vessels.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of international maritime laws and regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.

Responsibilities

• Navigation and Safety: responsible for safe navigation, meteorology and safety protocols.
• Leadership: lead the crew and coordinate with deck and technical staff for smooth on-board operations.
• Guest Experience: provide an unforgettable sailing experience through hospitality and professionalism.
