Job summary

Cadeler seeks a Technical Sales Engineer to translate complex offshore engineering challenges into winning proposals, collaborating with Tender Managers to shape technically sound and commercially competitive bids.

You will create technical content, perform tendering analyses, and develop templates to drive efficiency in the bid process, while engaging with clients and suppliers to build compelling packages.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Maritime Engineering, Naval Architecture, Offshore Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–5 years’ experience in an engineering role within the wind and/or offshore industry.
• Familiarity with Foundations TI projects and jack-up vessels (advantage).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D or 3D modelling and Microsoft Office.
• Commercial awareness when developing technical solutions.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical topics clearly.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Tender Managers and Technical Sales Managers to turn complex offshore engineering challenges into winning proposals.
• Define solutions, assess risks, and ensure our technical content supports feasibility and commercial competitiveness.
• Create high-quality technical documentation and vessel layouts for bids.
• Perform tender-stage engineering such as vessel positioning, deck layouts, site-specific assessments, and lifting arrangements.
