Job summary
Strohm Energy in IJmuiden is seeking a Sales Support Engineer to translate client requirements into technical specifications for bids, while guiding engineering activities and documenting outcomes. You will design TCP systems, balance performance and cost, and support the Sales team with compelling proposals.
The role requires around 5 years in offshore energy engineering, familiarity with industry codes, and strong English, with Dutch as a plus.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical, Marine, Offshore or Subsea Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in offshore energy industry around 5 years
- Familiarity with API, DNV and NORSOK standards is preferred
Responsibilities
- Translate client requirements into technical specifications for bids.
- Supervise engineering activities for bids and ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
- Design and analyze TCP systems and related equipment for fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Compile technical documentation and respond to technical queries for the Sales team.
- Present TCP products to clients during meetings and support tendering management.
