Job summary

Ballast Nedam Wind & Marine is seeking a Senior Project Engineer Wind & Marine to provide technical leadership across tenders and project execution for offshore wind and marine infrastructure. You will translate concepts into practical solutions, manage technical risks, and ensure quality from tender to delivery.

You will mentor junior engineers, shape the engineering organization, and drive best practices in a fast-growing business unit with international projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Maritime, or Offshore Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience as a project engineer in offshore wind, offshore O&G, or marine projects.
• Proven experience with foundation installation, marine operations, and heavy lift operations.
• Experience in both tendering and execution phases.
• Experience coaching and developing engineers.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with drive to build and improve.

Responsibilities

• Translate concepts into practical engineering solutions and manage technical risks.
• Oversee tendering and execution activities to ensure quality and constructability.
• Coordinate interfaces with suppliers, subcontractors, and supply chain partners.
• Coach and guide (junior) project engineers and shape the engineering organization.
• Drive process improvements and engineering best practices.
