Job summary

Vestas American Wind Technology is seeking an experienced Shift Manager to lead the day-to-day offshore operations from the SOV serving Hollandse Kust West VII – Oranjewind windfarm, based in Den Helder, on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation.

You will oversee production planning, maintenance execution, safety leadership, and crew development, while coordinating subcontractors and maintaining strict adherence to HSE and quality procedures in a demanding offshore environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years leadership/management experience in offshore electrical or mechanical systems.
• Willingness to travel and manage a large offshore service operation.
• Safety focused and professional under challenging times; good problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day offshore operations from the SOV on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation.
• Oversee planning of servicing and maintenance and production performance.
• Lead and develop the offshore crew and subcontractors onboard the vessel.
• Ensure safety culture and manage SOV interface and escalations.
• Produce routine performance reporting and coordinate upgrade campaigns.
