Job summary

Siemens Energy B.V., Business Unit Wind Power is seeking a dedicated Site Technician 1 for the Hollandse Kust Noord offshore wind farm in the Netherlands. You will perform routine offshore maintenance, diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, and follow maritime safety standards to support turbine availability and campaign success.

Ideal candidates have a vocational degree (MBO-3/4) in Electrical, Mechatronics or Mechanical engineering, an apprenticeship, 0–2 years in wind energy, and

Qualifications

• Vocational degree (MBO-3/MBO-4) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Completed technical apprenticeship or internship in a relevant field.
• 0–2 years of experience in wind energy, industrial maintenance, or maritime operations.
• Certifications: GWO BST, GWO BTT, VCA Safety, NEN 3140 Electrical Safety.
• Strong technical skills in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, and servicing on offshore wind turbine generators and related systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults to minimize turbine downtime.
• Replace major components and execute retrofits or upgrades per specs and quality standards.
• Adhere to zero-harm safety protocols and offshore regulations during all operations.
• Document service activities, maintenance logs, and parts usage in CMMS.
