Job summary

Van Oord is seeking a Lifting Supervisor to manage onshore and offshore lifting operations for foundations and turbine installation. You will review lift plans and risk assessments, coordinate crane operations on site and collaborate with offshore professionals to advance offshore wind projects worldwide.

You will lead lifting site personnel, check certifications, and support calculations while ensuring safety and efficiency in challenging offshore environments.

Qualifications

• Operational experience on board ships as a crane operator or lifting supervisor.
• Good command of the English language.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• A practical, proactive and solution-driven mindset.
• Flexibility to work on board and at project locations worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve lift plans, risk assessments and method statements.
• Ensure the correct implementation of installation manuals and procedures.
• Support crane-specific calculations such as load capacity and lifting height.
• Check and maintain certification of lifting gear.
• Lead and coach lifting site personnel such as crane operators.
