Job summary

Hitachi Energy The Netherlands B.V. seeks a Project Construction & Commissioning Manager (PCCM) to lead site preparation, mobilization and offshore HVDC project execution. You will coordinate handovers, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and liaise with site and home-office teams.

You will drive constructability improvements, plan resources, monitor costs and risks, and guide subcontractors toward efficient, compliant execution in a dynamic offshore environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience in construction, commissioning, or site management in industrial or energy projects.
• Knowledge of HVDC, power plants, EPC projects, or similar large-scale environments.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with ability to coordinate teams.
• Understanding of HSE requirements and a safety-first approach.
• Willingness to work offshore and adapt to varying site conditions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate handover from Tendering to Construction, including scope, schedule, risks, and constructability.
• Prepare initial plans for storage, maintenance, spare parts, and site infrastructure.
• Support site start-up, mobilization, and ensure a complete site execution plan.
• Ensure compliance with laws, permits, labor rules, and HSE requirements.
• Monitor construction progress, costs, risks, and manpower; propose mitigations with Site Manager.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site resources, and cost reporting for efficient execution.
• Represent the site in reporting to the home office and drive lessons-learned for future projects.
