Job summary

Hitachi Energy The Netherlands BV is seeking a Site HSE Manager to lead health, safety and environmental activities on a busy construction site in Rotterdam. You will set up HSE processes, coach teams, and ensure compliance with Dutch law and company standards while coordinating with the Site Manager, HVDC HSE team, subcontractors, and client representatives.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch and English is required.
• Experience on large construction sites with multiple contractors.
• Knowledge of Dutch legislation including the Arbobesluit and Safety Culture Ladder.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage the site HSE system and plans.
• Prepare and review risk assessments and method statements.
• Act as the main HSE contact for the project and site.
• Track safety indicators and report to the project team.
• Investigate incidents and propose root-cause improvements.
