Hitachi Energy The Netherlands B.V. is seeking a Civil Technical Site Advisor to lead civil construction activities on HVDC projects on site, ensuring safe execution and compliance with project requirements.

You will collaborate with site management, engineering, quality, HSE, and customers to drive successful handovers. The role requires at least 5 years of civil construction site experience, a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, and the ability to interpret technical

Qualifications

• Experience in high-voltage, power transmission, or energy infrastructure is preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and construction documentation.
• Strong understanding of quality, safety, and construction best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance for civil construction activities throughout project execution.
• Support site management by monitoring progress, quality, documentation, and compliance.
• Advise on civil construction interfaces with installation, commissioning, logistics, and engineering teams.
• Promote safe working practices and support the implementation of HSE requirements and risk mitigation measures.
• Review drawings and site changes to ensure construction aligns with approved requirements.
• Participate in inspections, quality walks, handovers, and non-conformance management.
