Job summary

Postillion Hotels is seeking a night porter to ensure guest comfort and safety during nightly hours. You will handle guest requests, deliver orders, and keep night operations running smoothly.

The role requires empathy, resilience, and a responsible attitude. Weekend and holiday availability is expected. MEWS experience is a plus, and a BHV/social hygiene diploma is preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• BHV and social hygiene diploma or willingness to obtain them.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Strong guest empathy and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Experience with the MEWS reservation system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests at night and handle requests with care.
• Take and deliver orders, including nightcaps, to guests.
• Update the night audit and record any special notes.
• Ensure a warm, safe, and welcoming atmosphere during night shifts.

If you are at your best when the sun is down, you are cut out to be a night porter. You are aware of the responsibility you have and handle it with care. You are precise and reliable and give guests the attention and service they deserve even at night. Serving guests another nightcap or a bitterball, you take and serve the order. You update the administration and take note of any particularities. With you, people feel comfortable and welcome. You give attention with impact.
