art'otel Amsterdam, part of PPHE Hotel Group, seeks a Night Manager to lead the overnight operation, ensuring seamless service and a safe, welcoming environment for guests and team members.

You will manage the night team, handle guest requests, oversee night audits, and collaborate with all hotel departments to maintain high standards. Previous leadership in a boutique or upscale hotel is preferred, with a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

As our Night Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the hotel during the night, ensuring seamless operations, exceptional guest service, and a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and team members.

What you'll be doing as a Night Manager:

• Lead the overnight operation of the hotel and act as the senior manager on duty during the night.
• Ensure an exceptional guest experience by handling requests, feedback, and escalated issues with confidence and professionalism.
• Support and guide the Night Team, leading by example and fostering a positive service culture.
• Oversee night audit procedures, operational reporting, cash controls, and shift handovers.
• Work closely with all hotel departments to ensure smooth communication and operational continuity.
• Monitor hotel safety, security, and compliance, responding effectively to incidents and emergencies when required.
• Identify opportunities to improve service standards, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
• Contribute as an active member of the hotel's management team while delivering a personalised and memorable guest experience.

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience as a Night Manager, Assistant Night Manager, or Front Office leader within hospitality.
• A confident decision-maker who is comfortable managing a hotel operation independently overnight.
• Strong knowledge of Front Office operations, guest service, and night audit procedures.
• Proven ability to lead teams, resolve guest issues, and remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• A hands-on and proactive leadership style with a passion for hospitality.
• Experience with hotel management systems and operational reporting.
• Previous experience in a lifestyle, boutique, or upscale hotel environment is a plus.
