Job summary

The Manor Amsterdam is part of Leonardo Hotels Benelux, a group operating 28 hotels in the Netherlands and Belgium. This night shift role in Amsterdam East focuses on guest check-ins/outs, night-time guest assistance, and preparation for the next day.

You will collaborate with a night-team, maintain service excellence, and support morning staff to ensure a smooth handover. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, able to work independently and as part of a team, and live in/near Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• Must have a guest-first attitude and strong service mindset.
• Able to work both in a team and independently.
• Fluent English; Dutch is a plus.
• Experience with MEWS is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest check-ins/outs during night shift with a colleague.
• Answer guest questions and provide timely assistance.
• Prepare arrivals for the next day to start smoothly in the morning.
• Order taxis or provide extras (e.g., blankets) as needed.
• Brief the morning shift at end of shift and hand over tasks.

Job description

Are you a true night owl? Do you value hospitality, can you stand your ground and have excellent self-reliance? In that case, we are looking for you.

What will you be doing?

Your shift starts at 23:00. That’s no problem for you because you are flexible. During the night, together with a colleague, you will help guests check in and out and you will answer any questions they may have. Throughout the night you are busy with various tasks and don’t get bored for a single moment. Among other things, you will prepare the arrivals for the next day, so that your colleagues can immediately get started in the morning. In addition, you can order a taxi or bring an extra blanket to a room. At 07:00 am your shift is finished, and you then brief the morning shift and transfer all ongoing tasks to them. With a satisfied feeling you are ready to head home.
