Job summary

Landal is seeking a Network Lead to design, implement and optimize the network across multiple locations. You will oversee routers, switches, firewalls and Wi‑Fi, ensuring high performance and security.

The role requires steering network upgrades, coordinating with vendors, and managing outsourced partners. The ideal candidate has 8–12 years in network engineering, a relevant technical degree, and certifications like CCNP/CCIE, CISSP or Network+.

Qualifications

The Network Leads objective: Responsible for overseeing network design, implementation, management, and incident management to support seamless operations across systems and locations.

  • Design and plan the network infrastructure to meet the needs of the organization, including Wi‑Fi, internal communication systems, and connectivity for the various departments.
  • Oversee and manage the installation and configuration of network hardware, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points, ensure optimal performance and coverage.
  • Lead resolution of network connectivity and performance issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Engage with the security team to implement and maintain a robust network security measures.
  • Optimize network performance by analysing traffic patterns and making necessary adjustments to improve speed, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Plan and lead implementation of network upgrades to accommodate growth, such as adding new locations, increasing bandwidth, and integrating new technologies.
  • Manage relationships with outsourcing partners & vendors in the Networks domain. Evaluate and select third party vendors and oversee the procurement of network equipment and services.
  • 8-12 years of experience in network engineering, network support, or related roles, with a proven track record of managing network infrastructure in a complex multi-location environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, computer science, engineering or related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNP/CCIE, CompTIA Network+, or - Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  • Deep understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
  • Experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software (network management tools, security solutions).
  • Knowledge of network security practices, threat management, and vulnerability assessment.
  • Experience analysing network performance metrics and taking decisions to enhance network reliability.
  • Experience managing outsourcing partners / third party vendors, network-related projects, including planning, execution, and post-implementation review.

Industry Experience In Hospitality (highly Preferred)
Dit bieden wij
  • An annual contract with a trial period of one month, whereby we would of course ultimately be happy to employ you permanently;
  • A salary between € 4.200 and €6.100 gross per month on a full-time basis*;
  • A bonus scheme;

  • 27 days' holiday for a full-time working week* with the option to purchase 10 additional days off;

  • A full-time employment contract at Landal has a 38-hour working week, which is equivalent to a 5-day working week. If you have a part-time employment contract, your salary and vacation days are calculated pro rata.

Unfortunately for this position we’re not able to support with a relocation or sponsoring a work visa in the Netherlands. Therefore, we can only consider applicants who are already residing in the Netherlands and hold a valid work permit.
