Job summary

Landal GreenParks is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement and manage our multi-location network infrastructure across hospitality locations. You will lead installation of routers, switches, firewalls, and access points, optimize performance, and collaborate with security and vendor teams to ensure robust connectivity and uptime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technology, computer science, engineering, or related field.
• CCNP/CCIE, CISSP or equal certifications are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs and VPNs.

Responsible for overseeing network design, implementation, management, and incident management to support seamless operations across systems and locations.

• Design and plan the network infrastructure to meet the needs of the organization, including Wi‑Fi, internal communication systems, and connectivity for the various departments.
• Oversee and manage the installation and configuration of network hardware, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points, ensuring optimal performance and coverage.
• Lead resolution of network connectivity and performance issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Engage with the security team to implement and maintain robust network security measures.
• Optimize network performance by analysing traffic patterns and making necessary adjustments to improve speed, reliability, and efficiency.
• Plan and lead implementation of network upgrades to accommodate growth, such as adding new locations, increasing bandwidth, and integrating new technologies.
• Manage relationships with outsourcing partners and vendors in the Networks domain, evaluate and select third‑party vendors, and oversee the procurement of network equipment and services.

Wie je bent

• 8-12 years of experience in network engineering, network support, or related roles, with a proven track record of managing network infrastructure in a complex multi‑location environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNP/CCIE, CompTIA Network+, or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
• Deep understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
• Experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software (network management tools, security solutions).
• Knowledge of network security practices, threat management, and vulnerability assessment.
• Experience analysing network performance metrics and making decisions to enhance network reliability.
• Experience managing outsourcing partners and third‑party vendors, as well as network‑related projects, including planning, execution, and post‑implementation review.
• Industry experience in Hospitality is highly preferred.
