Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in the Benelux region seeks an experienced Technical Application Specialist to provide expert technical and application support for molecular diagnostics across Benelux, with occasional support to France. You will collaborate with sales, service organizations and global experts to ensure successful product implementations and customer satisfaction.

You will act as a trusted technical advisor, delivering training, troubleshooting, and ongoing customer success, while

Qualifications

Degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or related field.
Experience in technical support or applications within molecular diagnostics.
Strong molecular biology skills including nucleic acid extraction and PCR.
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and support customers.
Experience delivering technical training and product demonstrations.

Responsibilities

Provide first- and second-level technical and application support to customers.
Serve as SME for Abbott Molecular Diagnostics assays and systems.
Investigate technical issues, diagnose root causes, and troubleshoot remotely or on-site.
Develop and deliver technical training programs for customers and internal teams.
Support product demonstrations, user groups, and exhibitions.
