Job summary

MRC Holland, based in Amsterdam, is hiring a Biomedical Scientist - Technical Support Specialist for 32-40 hrs/week. You will provide expert technical support, troubleshoot data, and present product solutions to laboratories worldwide.

The role involves developing educational materials and coordinating webinars, with a strong customer-focused approach. Requirements include an MSc/PhD in Biomedical Sciences or related field, excellent English, some Dutch, and a proactive, team-oriented work

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Biomedical Sciences, Molecular Biology or similar.
• Near-native English; basic Dutch is a plus.
• Pragmatic, solution-driven mindset with independence and teamwork.
• Experience or affinity with next-generation sequencing (NGS).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting by email and remote sessions.
• Present product solutions and technical considerations in virtual discussions.
• Relay the customer perspective to cross-department teams with actionable feedback.
• Develop educational and marketing materials and organize webinars/workshops.
