Sumitomo Heavy Industries (Europe) is seeking a senior sales leader for the Midwest region. You will develop and execute strategic sales plans, manage regional teams, and drive revenue growth across distributors and OEMs.

The role requires extensive travel, 50-75%, and a proven history of exceeding quotas in mechanical power transmission markets. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering.
• Ten years outside sales experience and 3–5 years of sales team management.
• Five years of sales experience in the mechanical power transmission market.
• Proven track record of meeting quotas and revenue growth.
• Strong strategic planning, budgeting, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve objectives.
• Evaluate plan attainment to drive revenue and profitability; build customer relationships.
• Manage RSM and DSM sales activities and territory maps.
• Maintain and manage territory maps and distributor channel growth.
• Submit monthly sales forecasts and quotes; analyze distribution channels.
• Travel 50-75% to cover Midwest territory.
