Job summary

Sumitomo SHI FW (SFW) is seeking a Sales Manager, Energy and Decarbonization, to drive proposal development and sales for energy technology offerings including CFB/BFB boilers, WtE, gasification and carbon capture. The role collaborates with senior management and international customers and leads a cross-disciplinary proposal team.

The candidate should have a strong commercial and technical background, a relevant engineering degree with at least five years in engineering or proposal roles, and

Qualifications

• MSc Engineering or equivalent; minimum five years in engineering or proposal-related roles.
• Experience in process and power plants is advantageous.
• Results-oriented with winning mindset; able to lead negotiations with international customers.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and language skills, fluent English; willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal development for technology solutions and ensure competitiveness.
• Lead the Proposal Team and coordinate with Proposal Manager and other experts.
• Act as primary customer contact during proposal phase and lead commercial negotiations.
• Prepare commercial documentation for proposals and contracts; ensure competitiveness while meeting customer requirements.
