Job summary

NH Collection Amsterdam Barbizon Palace invites you to join the Meeting & Events team as an internship. You will assist with the setup of meeting rooms and AV technology, while supporting day-to-day operations, event breaks, and guest communications.

This hands-on role offers exposure to planning, coordination, and customer service in a luxury hotel context. You will collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth events, gain experience in administration, and contribute to a memorable guest

Qualifications

• Interest in organizing meetings, congresses, parties and events in the Meeting & Events department.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Eye for detail and flexibility.
• Good command of English (Dutch a plus).
• Commitment to delivering perfect service.

Responsibilities

• Set-ups and preparation of meeting rooms and AV technology.
• Day-to-day operations of the Meeting & Events department (breaks, refresh, lunches, etc.).
• Provide information to contact persons and colleagues; act as a link between guest and staff.
• Perform various administrative activities during the internship.
