Job summary

NH Collection Amsterdam Barbizon Palace is offering an Internship in the Meetings & Events department in Amsterdam. You will assist with set-ups of meeting rooms and AV technology, while supporting daily operations and guest-facing tasks.

You will gain hands-on experience in event management, support breaks and lunches, and help coordinate information between guests and colleagues. The program includes training and a path for growth within Minor Hotels.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic about preparing and organizing meetings, congresses, parties and other events.
• Works well independently as well as in a team.
• Has an eye for detail and is flexible.
• Strong command of English; Dutch is a plus.
• Strives for excellent service at all times.

Responsibilities

• Set-ups and preparation of meeting rooms and AV technology.
• Day-to-day operations of the Meetings & Events department, including breaks and serving lunches.
• Provide information to contact persons and colleagues; act as liaison between guest and staff.
• Perform administrative tasks; time allowed for internship assignments.
